Letting the PB Blaster sit found a can that I knew I had somewhere so will let that one site for a bit before trying again. That is one difficult thing about old cars allows you to work on patiances.

First attempt to remove my drivers side door panel to reinstall my side mirror, and new vent glass. After more than an hour, my window crank wins for today. I removed the pin to the crank but it seems fused to the rod. The door lever came off and the molding. Was thinking slide hammer but don't care to break the thing. Put some 3 in one on it and will try again later.

I found this digital copy on a Packard Facebook Site. This would be something you could have printed out and framed...? Seems to have a higher resolution when you click on the picture.

I came across this article on the auction of the Packard plant. Looks to have a starting bid of almost One Million Dollars.

Great progress it will be a great feeling to take it back out on the road after all that work.

Nice looks like one that Overhaulin did for John Force. Should be fun to drive around.

If one turns out to be bad are there replacements or would it be something to try to reproduce?

I had slow cranking on my 51 300 and it ended up being the battery cable were defective. Too much resistance I changed them and it made a lot of difference. I still need to do the type of work you did to your engine though.

Very short dip stick and I would agree a bit of a pain.
