Does anybody have reasonably priced rear bumper brackets for a 1937 115 Touring sedan? Also need the hood trim strip. Thanks!

Thanks, BDeb of Alberta (used to live there myself in late 60's). Good Pictures, but I'm still confused. I have the clips, but the two hood halves will have to be persuaded to slide together. Are you saying I need to slide short bars through the hole between the hood pieces after they are slid together, and then put them under the clips and reattach the clips? Or should I just use one continuous rod for the whole length? Thanks, Brad

Thanks for the information!! Does anybody know what the diameter of the rod is, or have one for sale? I guess I can estimate the diameter and get some rod stock to make one...

I am restoring a "basket case" 1937 115, and now that I've painted all the parts, I'm not sure how the two halves of the hood attach. Is there a rod to thread through them or do they just slide together. If the latter, what keeps them in place once on the car? Also does anybody have a usable hood trim strip for sale - the reproduction piece is too expensive to justify!

Thanks Tim, I have seen "original" leather options on a 1948 Custom (mine is shadow cloth) and on a 1955 Clipper, but not on 1930 Juniors (except convertibles), but the Packard Club site shows it as an option for Juniors, and I love the luxury of leather, so am considering it. I agree the parts book doesn't show any leather for Juniors, but I also understand that many export and taxi use vehicles had either leather of leatherette. I guess a 115 has so little value that if I do stretch the truth a bit it won't matter much - just want it to look like Packard would have done it!

Does anybody have information or pictures showing how the leather option was done in 1937? I understand any model could have leather and I'd like to do my 115 touring sedan in leather. Did the door panels have leather? I assume the headliner was still wool? Any pictures showing the "tan" and "green" leather options would help! Thanks, Brad
