Stephen,

Nice work.

Congrats on getting it up and running.

Now the fun starts with driving it and putting miles and smiles....

Great work on your Packard Tom Is your wood grain dash a refurbished original?

Thanks Mike for the compliments.

It is the original metal dash but the woodgrain was repainted by hand by a lady that worked for the shop that did the metal fabrication on the body for me.

She did an outstanding job.

Took the Packard out for a 35 mile drive today and the odometer hit 101,000 miles.

Local shop I usually use could not handle repairing these buckets so I had to send them out of state (Ohio).

1929Packardguy,

This is what I paid to have mine rechromed back in 2010

Final Cost was and arm and a leg.
$2100 for labor
12% Shop materials $252
Haz Waste 2% $42
Shipping $70.

My buckets were in pretty ruff shape.
Attached is a before and after pictures

Wat_Tyler,

I purchased leds for the headlights for my 1931 from

http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/led-headlamp-bulbs-shop.php

Very pleased on how they light up the road now.

Kev,

Hope you and the family had a nice Thanksgiving.

Lets you, Dezi and I (or any other car lover here in the Land of Lincoln) meet up sometime in 2022 for lunch.

Tom

Gary,

I have used his products and guideline to paint my 1931.

When you call in with questions you actually will be talking to the owner Barry. Very pleasant guy to talk to.
