I had a vibration. I found that my pressure plate was missing a spring!
1937 115C inline six, Three speed ! I bought a online rebuild it is physically different? The original has grooves the online purchase has a solid clutch material. The hub dimensions are different, the online disc is about a quarter taller on bench side by side. The center hub is different as well.
Is it possible that I received a disc for a inline eight/ overdrive??? My research indicates a 9.5" disc. That's what these are. Thanks Dave
I've tried to post pictures but I'm having trouble!!!!

Replacing the clutch in my 1937 115 C. I received a new disc from a vendor on line . The disc I received has a smooth riveted liner on it, all the clutch disc I have seen have groves in the riveted lining. I think this is for a ECONO - drive.? Should I use this? My order stated 1937 115 C. Six. Why are thair groves in the disc for ? Thank you. Dave

Thanks for the response's this really helps. This happens parked. I purchased this car in November 2014 with very little owner info. Worked winter replacing all rear seals and axle bearings, transmission seals, motor mounts, pan gasket, front bearings and seals. Fuel pump and lines, new complete brake system, water pump, rebuilt carberator, all new body mounts and much more. I now will get into the distribitor and electrical thanks for the suggestions. Dave

Instructions read, bearing preload is adjusted by turning nut. X. My question is the adjusting nut on mine is only holding on by 4-5 threads I can see the top nearl of the center steering arm pin on top of the bearing flange. I think that the tapered pin was replaced by the straight pin. Any thoughts. Thank's. Dave

HH 56 thanks fo the help, you are correct it worked out fine. Thair are two switch slides one is thin brass the other heavier steel the 90 shaft was out of the steel rod engaged only in the brass. This would have broken in the future. I'am to good with a computer, I will see if I can put in a picture? I do have a shop manual but sometimes talking to a person who has been thair. The manual does not tell you how to disconnect to remove it. Thank's Henry, Dave.
