Hello Terry,

Could you please state the exact type of FRAM filter that you are using, as the filter manufacturers` cross references are seemingly unreliable.

Thanks in advance,

Thank you for the info.

Alas as I live in Norway it is more or less impossible for me to obtain your suggested brand of oil filters.

I wonder if anybody use filters from FRAM or MANN?

Hello.

As a greenhorn Packard owner (just having bought a Clipper DeLuxe 1956), I need some advise concerning type of engine oil- and filters, i.e should it be a full flow or a by pass?
The different manufacturers state that you can use both types.

I think the car in question might possibly be the brazilian made Chambord, which as far as I remember was in production
during the late 1960s.

Lubrication fittings

Hello,

I have just bought a Clipper De Luxe 1956, and while lubricating it, I discovered that one of the king pin lower lubricator fitting was missing.
I wonder if anybody know the dimension and threads for this item. (Strangely enough in the parts list, it seems that the seemingly identical lubrication fittings have different part numbers!).
I am living in Norway and has just become a member.
