All I am doing is dropping the drive shaft and pulling the yoke. I shouldn't have to do any shimming correct??

I need to replace the pinion seal in the rear end. Looks pretty much straight forward. Anything special I need to know?

Thanks in advance!

I have a few clocks that are turn of the century. There is a local jewelry store that has repaired these for me. I called them and asked them about the Packard clock, they said sure we repair classic auto clocks for the local antique car shops. Dang! Never new dropped it off and said since its a holiday week I can pick it up next week !

Howard,

yes it 2 a 2 pcs metal holder right out of the back of the radio box under the dash. There wasn't a fuse in it. It is very short and appears to be factory as it is unmolested.

Thanks Howard! The radio under dash has a small fuse link in it. The smallest fuse I can find is still you long. Does anyone know what fuse goes in there?
