Yeah those pieces I took out with a 6 buck painters tool from home depo wish I had the heat gun.... Got bilters from chipping that stuff out. The tar that I'm talking about is at the seams of the floor pans and welds.

You know I really don't know if she is a business coupe. Saw coupe so clicked it. Her rear seat was made from wood frame which I thought was weird. Any way to fine out with the car number?

so im on day # 2 and i for got to take before pic of the interior. well so far i have gutted the interior and began sanding her down to bear metal. any one gotsome helpfull advice on how to strip all that tar? and what to use to replace that tar stuff.

Hi guys new to the Packard site, just picked a 51 200 last week after I sold my mustang. She has not ran in 5 year all their pretty much just has a 53 hood and front left fender. Looks like I got a good project that will keep me busy....... Can't seem to figure out how to post pics but once I do I will put her up.
