Was told AMC redesigned the oil pumps in the engines that Packard sold them, and that took care of the problem. Not with my 1956 352. Besides noisy lifters, my engine failed pre-maturity with the main bearings failing. Had the engine rebuilt with the PI oil pump, with no problems.

Also have a problem with my Rochester 4 barrel, using too much fuel, and a lot washes down the cylinders. So check the carburetor.
Now to find a rebuilder for mine.

Wow! From your supplied photos, the body and paint looked excellent ! Shows how you cannot trust photos and some dealers. Always better to check out any vehicle in person, as I found out the hard way.
