Watch your torque if you go to SS. Spec for a SS 7/16 is around 34 ft lbs. Im sure theres a saftey factor in their calculations so figure you can get away with 40 lbs.

think NAPA still sells it. It been some yrs since i bought one but think it was listed for '65 VW as well as farm/etc stuff.
Not 100% of the orig but its a box that mounts to the gen.
VR1813 is the model.

I suggest u use slotless mach. sc. Heads look like rivets.

And their SS so if u want u can make them look chrome.

Nethercutt has so many cars im betting they ran out of combinations.

I see the top insert is black. Is that correct for '30? I know its speced out for '34 to have the insert painted body color on all but dark colored cars.

Way in the back of my mind i THINK? i remember a period photo of a Speedster with light colored fenders and dark body sitting on a show room floor. Ring a bell with anyone?
