Dave Clipper47 - that car is incredibly gorgeous! I've long felt the Clipper is the most beautiful of all '40s cars (had a Cad '47 60 Special many years ago - that one is close!), and yours is a perfect example of why! ... unfortunately, my finances are not in a position to do much in the way of "persuading" these days, so I'm basically looking for restoration projects... however, thanks for providing a pic of one to dream about! and NY is right next door!

Hi: New here, but had a '56 Pat for a while a few years back and belonged to Mid-Atlantic Packards for a yr or so when I lived in Maryland... can you tell by my handle, I'm into old Mopars too? Restoring a 58 DeSoto 4 dr hardtop. But always felt Packard to be one of the best cars ever made and really miss having one. Enough about me though: what I'm looking for is a 41-47 Clipper, decent solid car, running or not, in a price range fit for a retired teacher ie: cheapish! Smaller less deluxe models are fine. Prefer not far from NY too, if possible... leads or any info are very much appreciated! Please eMail direct, post here or PM... thanks Roger A. in Binghamton NY eMail: firesweep"at"verizon.net
