There's a wiring diagram available for 1926 models listed in the Packard literature and manuals section of the forum.
Give it a look, it's a great Resourse!

Sad but true, around here there is only one radiator shop that actually does re-core jobs. There used to be four or five I remember that are gone now.
It has become a obsolete business, like a hat fitter.
Also I guess the environmental and health issues are tough to deal with, enter OSHA.

Does the rearward chrome trim piece come off with screws?
Or is it just attached to the glass with channel adhesive?
Otherwise the old glass should be able to be pulled out of the frame.

Never heard of them Mark, I will take a look though.
I have used Rock Auto for some front end and ignition parts for my Packard and my Studebaker. Prices were good and shipping was fast and they handled returns without hassle.
I mostly use my FLAPS store as they are a Mom and Pop auto store and also handle DuPont paint products. They've been in business since 1929 and I love the look and it has that old time auto part store smell, like new rubber and paint mixed together.

I know it's a distance from Nevada but I can recommend Paul's Chrome plating in Mars Pa. He did most of the chrome on my Packard and looks better than new. He's not cheap but does quality work and is familiar with Packard.
Also there's Frankfort Plating in Philadelphia,
One of our Studebaker guys is a salesman there and has a good connection with the fellows in the shop. His name is Tony Lombardi a great guy to deal with.

I've heard the spray chrome is not up to par as compared to the classic toxic dip. Also a question about the wear quality has been raised. This is just from what I've read online. I haven't seen any spray chrome repairs in person. Looks good in the online videos on YouTube though?

Yes! Very funny! At least Fred has most of his hair left!
I tore mine out years ago when the kids were teenagers.

Always a good thing to be able to reverse a B plan back to a A plan.
Doesn't happen with nearly the frequency of the reverse plans.
Yes, please keep us updated, with pictures without saying.

Thank you Owen for posting the photos! And Thank you Fred for buying the limo. I hope your plans include bringing one rare Packard back from the brink. I guess since there's no interior left and no serial or body number wel'll never know if she was equipped with air conditioning or the cool Cellarette unit.

Did it come equipped with a Cellarette unit?
Or air conditioning?
Would love to see a photograph of your Limousine if available?
