Second question from the newbie: I took delivery three weeks ago and the speedometer does not work. I was told it has the wrong pinion between the speedo cable and the trans. The car was converted from an automatic to a 3 speed manual prior to my ownership. It retains the 3.54 rear end from the automatic. Is there a speedo pinion for the manual trans that will talk to the 3.54 diff? If not, what is the closest I can get and would it read fast or slow? I have ordered a parts book which is yet to arrive. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys for all the responses. I just found an Owners Manual online and ordered it. I will add the car to the Registry.

This is my first post having purchased a '54 Convertible and taking delivery 2 weeks ago. I tried searching the archives to no avail. What does the factory jack and tool kit look like/contain and are there any sources for these items. Thanks.
