I would like to remove the skirts on my 55 four hundred to replace the centers on my Packard wire wheels
I noticed that there is only one bolt at is holding the skirt and place if I remove that one both will the skirt drop down I am used to The many 1960s cars I have owned with usually have a lever that attaches to the top of the quarter panel of the wheel well

I also tried an1157 bulb being 2 contact as well has two filaments
with the doors closed and the map lib is off the bulb will illuminate when placed in the socket so they are getting power but doors are closed this does no happen when I put in the 1004 bulb that's called for in the manual

I am a new owner and not familiar with the twin ultramatic
I believe t is a two SPD without a tach it ius difficult to see when it shifts can anyone tell me at what mph the short to second gear occurs

I have a 55 400 map light operates butg rear courtesy interior lights do not replaced bulbs , sockets have power
Could the light switch be the problem? All other lights operate as they should is there'd a separate fuyse\ciurcut for these lights?
