No, but that's why I said i probably shouldn't have seen this step. Everything looks wrong without all the molding and latches in place. It did fit nicely before he painted it lol.

This step has taken a lot longer than I thought it would. Apparently this is the step where little imperfections show up and he will rework an area. I probably shouldn't have seen this step. lol.

That was my mom and son, Luke, standing in line. I've been discussing selling three of the cars I have and trading up, plus I will be needing the room in the garage for another project...so i will have to lose at least 2 cars.

Luke has his learners permit and so far he has driven my Toyota truck, the 48 and the 54 Packards. He absolutely loves the 54, not so much that it's a convertible, but the power steering and the handling. He keeps telling me it's the only car we have with power steering. Funny having an 18 year old preach the benefits of modern features.

Guess where?

Weather is looking great this weekend, if it's too cool for swimming it's perfect Packard weather. The 54 is driving great these days.

It was a beautiful weekend and we were able to take the 54 out to the Bloody Angle for a little cruising.

This won't last long, no affiliation other than this is my buddy that works on my cars. This is a sorted out car perfect for someone getting into the hobby at a reasonable cost

1950 Packard standard eight, 288 cu in, ultramatic automatic transmission, reportedly 56,000 orig. miles, new paint, new interior, nice driver.
New fuel pump, new brakes, carb overhauled, gas tank cleaned out.

"I enjoyed all the people that stopped to talk and reminisce especially one guy that told me how in 1955-56 during his senior year of H.S. He remembers how he and his buddy's would stand on the back of any Packard they saw on the street just to test the torsion level system. "

Now that is funny
