When I pulled the instrument cluster on my 1951 200 I'm glad I moved slow and took lots of pictures. I had different color paint sticks and made index marks, match colors marks, and changed any/all light bulbs. Cleaned the back of gauge electrical connections and rear of dash connections....broke the nuts loose and retightened. When you think you have enough pic's take more it's cheap insurance. Good luck.

Steve

Edit: My instrument cluster is probably one of the easiest units to remove 2nd time is easy..er.

my type 24 had radiator leaks. Local shop (Vancouver, WA) re-cored my radiator, re-used my original tanks, removed a large dent in the top tank cost was $950.00. 2 years later no leaks, no overheating. I'm happy. Good luck.

edit: I found the radiator shop by looking in and searching for truck repairs. The local radiator business' are no longer in business.

JEEEEEZ! Looking at the driver side door specifically and the car generally, I'm asking in all sincerity is that car even a candidate for any kind restoration?

Dang! How did I get to be 77 years old, enjoying my old cars for the last 50 years and learn something totally new...to me...about rust removal, 12V power, anodes and the rest of the process. I guess if you stop learning you die.
Thank you for keeping me alive.
