From what I've read, a 56 golden hawk is the same, #421731, Brent Hagen has them for $25.00

Hi, During my travels today I saw this Packard which is for sale. I took down the VIN 2492 I3399, the theifproof A47992 for those who keep track. The car has 75,000 miles, only $1500. It's in eastern Ohio. If interested, PM me for the owners number & location.

I was looking at the Panther project site at front shock numbers & it appears that a Monroe #911096 will work on a 56 Exec. with T/L. Can anyone verify if this will indeed work.

FYI I purchased some load bar links from the Packard Library, (still in the mail), I'm told they have more ( not sure of how many ) available for a reduced price. Check it out if you need some.

Since there is some relation to Packard, I thought it would be OK to post this here. It's just south of Tionesta PA, Rt 36.

Maybe you should just get the whole car.

I found what appears to be the same truck on a Hemmings picture page about Packards 100th anniv. but says it's on a V-12 chassis. If an 8 bolts up to a 12 bellhousing, maybe this would help in finding some info.

Just for the heck of it, I looked up the 901 W Main address & there's a photo of a dealership type building. Could this be a Packard place?
