Best head gasket for the 352?

I am wanting to replace the headgaskets in my '352 before I drop it back in.

Who is the best manufacturer to look for? I see some on ebay, but worry that they might be substandard.

Any ideas are appreciated!

I am in McMinnville area. I'm no expert. Haven't been working on Packard due to a home remodel of my 120 year old house! There is a local Packard club that is very active.

The hood scoop hood, dual quad, bat wing air cleaner that comes with it might make it worth the price.

This attitude is why nothing ever gets made for Packard. If you want the packard hobby to exist after your generation, you'd better HOPE some performance parts become available. Otherwise the only parkcards left will be non runners in museums.

Unless you, or a representative of you is there, I fear you bear all the risk. The seller loses nothing.

'55 Oil pump shaft wear

Here is the pump out of the engine I have. Packardv8 has confirmed in my build thread that the pump is a 1st Generation pump that has a "hash pipe" attached to the pressure relief valve, which is a dealer fix.

However, the wear on the end of the shaft that goes into the distributor troubles me. What do you think? It pumps like crazy when I attached a cordless drill and put the pick up screen in a pan of oil. It shot oil across the room!
