TxGoat, thank you for the vehicle identification. Without having detailed knowledge of Cadillac, it seems to me that the 1940/41 vehicle has turn signals (indicators). Regardless, it apparently received the "standard vehicle body" with trafficators (wig-wags, semaphores).

Mike (su8overdrive), thanks for pointing out the coachbuilder. Despite five different base vehicles, the standardization efforts are visible. It seems to me that the same coachbuilder was used in each case. All or almost all vehicles appear to have been equipped with the same rims and hubcaps (and probably the same tires). Another discovery: the probably oldest car is the only one with an undivided windshield.

Ross, here are two old photographs for your inspiration. They were contributed by -> Philip from Canada. The captions state that the photos show a factory pickup.
-> image #1 "Front view of Packard prototype pickup that was used at the factory. Was in Ogdensburg but not sure where it is now. Will see if I can find it." -> image #2 "1949 Packard prototype pickup used at the factory. Was owned by Bill Hull of Ogdensburg." The images below have been minimally edited (edges trimmed, color slightly retouched, sharpened, etc.) for better visibility.

It is not uncommon for fire and rescue stations to form time bubbles in which old vehicles survive. Today I came across a picture showing a row of ambulances in Zurich. The last one looks like a pre-war Packard to me.
It is truly astonishing that five different ambulances are used at one rescue station. image source: zugerzeitung.ch Click to enlarge!

"...deliveries can be made at any place in the United Staates..."
He was definitely business-minded, our Mark Moody. Although he even gives two addresses, neither of them shows that the dealership's headquarter is in China. This ad gives the impression that he ordered in Shanghai, but delivered the cars in the USA and pocketed the savings in transport costs. If my hypothesis is correct, he will have quickly gotten into trouble with the top dogs in whose sales area he poached. image source: thepaper.cn Click to enlarge!

In rank and file.
What I only discovered at second glance was that a number of these vehicles appear to be right-hand drive. source: pressreader.com/uk
