While we are looking at the dash, did the 22 and 23rd models use a 5 volt regulator? Or was that just the 1951-54 cars. John

Is there a difference in the 1948-50 and the 1951-54 blocks? I know the water pump is different. But was the block a different casting also?

Yeah, not much off the shelf hop up parts for these engines. I have seen an Edmund's intake for 2 2 barrel carbs.

And also use capacitors of equal or greater rated voltages as shwn on the schematic.
