Flackmaster,

Dave,

What can you tell me about the Pierce coupe?

Got excited today when the restored exhaust manifold showed up. That was until I found one of the mounting ears was broken off in shipment. Bummer

Sorry for your issue. Will it turn with the plugs out. Could be hydraulic lock if you missed something with the water in the cylinders.

Alternately, will the starter turn if removed and powdered on the bench?

Thanks RH,

That is what I thought, but I needed some conformation.

The rolled edge is kind of a give away I guess.

My Pierce has just punched holes and has grommets, probably to keep the edge from cutting the wire

Thanks for going to the effort to help.

I got my wiring conduits back from powder coating and my new plug wires.

The question I have is are there any grommets in the conduit where the wires exit? I can find no reference in the parts book.

Here is the attachment end of mine. Notice the compression slit.

My '38 Senior was held in by the lower clamp. I was able to loosen it and the tube just slid off. Mine is chrome, but I might replace it with polished stainless.
