Hey Don,
have you ever gone to the "everything else" categorie? and then the "totaly bizzar"? i take it you have not! the price on the essex will seem totaly reasonable if you go look at some of the Crap in there! like this one: Item number: 260427405732 or this: Item number: 220432705270 i have also seen a single foam packing peanut with a face drawn on it sell for $40 and an absolutley averge every day run of the mill empty coke can that went for $53!

there was a made for t.v. movie done by goldie hawn a few years ago, i don't remember the name. however it has a jr series henny ambulace in it. also there was a scene that was cut from the movie, which had my aunt and uncle's 51 henny herse in it. will have to see if uncle can remember the name of the movie.
And why my memeory is so bad tonight i don't know. but there was another one. for some reason i want to think it was a scene in pulp fiction. it has a group of "old" dons and gangsters sitting around a table discussing how to deal with the "new blood" in the back ground is a 20's or early 30's era packard. the only thing else i can remember about the movie off the top of my head is: at the end of the scene, the main "don" realizes the cat he has been petting is dead! he holds it up and it's as stiff as a board! and he says " this cat is dead! get me a new cat!"

Something i just thought of, i wonder if one of the springs in the direct drive broke. so as to not maintain propper pressure on the disc. since it still has braking, we know the sprag is ok.

OK HH56 and Greendragon are not the same person! please read the posts! And HH56 is correct! coils are voltage sensitive, but not polarity sensitive! and NO!!!! changing where the + and - are hooked up WILL NOT result in a reversed polarity system!!!! the SECONDARY windings which is what the COIL WIRE is attached to and the PRIMARY windings which is what the CAR'S HARNESS is attached to, do not actualy TOUCH TOGETHER!!!
