JE,
Thank you for the info. The car now has the BFG Silvertown 7.60 X 15's on it. I think I will go back with the same thing.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.

I am going to replace the tires on my 1950 Deluxe 8. What is the correct size? It now has 7.60 X 15 BFG Silvertowns on it. The Firestone Gum-Dipped closest size is 7.10 X 15. I want the closest to stock as possible.
Thanks,
Mike

Howard,
I finally got it. I used some dish soap to get the inside of the hose slick. I twisted the metal tube enough to get an angle on it so that I could start it onto the water pump, then it slipped right on. After that , I straightened the metal tube so it was straight with the water pump. Yes, before that I had to slide the hose all the way on to the metal tube, then pull it on to the water pump.

I finally did something smart today, I put the clamps on the tube before the hose!!!

Thanks,
Mike

Hi guys!
I reinstalled the radiator in my 1950 Deluxe 8 and am having trouble getting the upper bottom short radiator hose to slip on to the water pump. The hose is short and the metal tube is real close to the water pump inlet.

Are there any hints or kinks on how to get it to slip onto the water pump. Any help is appreciated.

I tried several times to post a picture of my car, but it wouldn't take it. Not sure of the problem. It is in jpeg format.
Sorry to hijack this thread!
Thanks,

I tried that with my 1941 4198L Landaulet Funeral Coach, and it wouldn't take it. Also in the model choices, I couldn't choose that model as it was not an option.
Thanks,
Mike

If you still have the radiator for sale, I'm interested.
