Yes I purchased a peep mirror for my 32 Packard, Eckler's part # 374619. They were the only vendor that had the convex one. Matching flat glass one for the drivers side is available also.

I just installed an outside door edge mount mirror on my 32 Packard. It came from Ecklers in Orland FL, and is of high quality chrome finish. They have several types available, this one is convex as I have a huge blindspot and since I drive this car regularly it is a must. I will need to change out the screw to a slot type as phillips were not used in 1932. Door gap was just enough to make the blind mount work.

Hopefully you do not end up like my 9th series, I moved the dist. 90 degrees but it did not solve the problem. The lock pin is very close to spark plug
#4, moving it 90 degrees and the grease cup is too close to spark plug #5. Fortunately the car starts and runs well but if I need to adjust the timing any further I can not do it without touching the plug.

Try Advanced Custom Chrome in Erie PA. Superior work, not cheap but you get what you pay for in the chrome world.

Those might clean up, and if they are a good buy then they may work OK. Bruce has all new fittings so that is what I went with. The meters are $ 40 ea. tube nuts are $ 15 ea. but you need to proper compression rings to reinstall them and they are special to this system, and only Bruce has those are far as I know. They are one sided like the originals not two sided like you might buy at the hardware store. You will also need 3/16" annealed copper tubing. Compression unions are at most auto parts stores and sold as brake line unions. Make sure you get the brass ones not steel, I got mine from O'Reilly's. Bruce's catalog attached.

There are a full set of forged cam rockers on Ebay this week look under Packard Parts for sale. If I needed them they would be gone. I have forged ones on my 32 but redid the pins and rollers which was not that bad of a job. Price is right too on those ebay ones.

I use Autolite 303 in my 32, it should be the same for 31. It has the screw top.

Absolutely essential that the cam levers are adjusted the same on both front wheels, slightly forward of vertical at rest and vertical when applied. This should be done after the shoe adjustment is made not before. Cables should have no corrosion. If they have not been changed in a while, the cables should be replaced.

The guy that restored my 32 ordered .60 rings from Egge. Maybe he just needed something over .50 and ground them to fit ? Egge says this block can go to .80, but I would never try that, just because they have them, does not make it correct.
