hello,
i see your from austin. i'm spread out between new braunfels and hunt(north of kerrville).

can you give me advise on the how/when/where to drive the car? austin is no picnic to drive in, especially with a car such as yours. i have concerns when/ where to drive mine because of the risk involved.

appreciate your feed back.

regards...bob

google airchamber and give us your thoughts please.

even in a climate controlled garage that this investment will be in, i don't have the inclination to continually maintain her. in my texas locale we have large ranges of change in:dust/temps/moisture/humidity and wind conditions. and,it seems folks which know a lot more than i do about such things are utilizing the airchambers.

take a look at your google results and your thoughts...

regards...bob

p.s. how do you attach a pic after you have accessed the image icon?

thank u Scott.
i'm buying a airchamber for the packard which i have not seen as of yet. its in transport from california to me in texas.

those airchambers cost around $950, without a 20% off sale ending today. now i'll know which size to order.

thanks again...bob

i did purchase the 1930 model 726, 4 days ago from an 80 yr. old collector. he presently had 10 cars of which i bought his packard. the asking $ was 55, but we settled on $47,500. along with it comes a crated 1930 tranny. it is presently be shipped door to door in a enclosed transport from california to my ranch in the texas hill country.

i bought it site unseen, which i guess is not very smart. however, i had the past president of an organization called, classis cars of america, look at many pics and ask questions of the owner; and bought the thing at what i think is below market price.

it looks awesome, time will tell if was a plus or minus purchase site unseen.

thanks for your comments...bob
