LED bulbs are not like incandescent bulbs. They are more like a switch. They either work or do not work. Many of my contacts have ran a new ground from the socket to the car at the site and that worked.

Proper working turn signals has been one of two areas in supplying LED bulbs to 6 volt car owners that I am still working on solving. The other area is the 3003 bulb for the 33 and 34 Packards and 32 and 33 Cadillacs. Motor City Packards Region of The Packard Club is offering LED bulbs for all 6 volt cars mostly positive ground, but some of our bulbs will work with negative ground. We offer every bulb that Packard used. Many of these bulbs were used by other makes. I have been researching and testing for over 2 years looking for the best bulb, plug and play and highest lumen output. Lumen is a measurement of visible light. We offer 3000K, 6000K, Amber and Red. I too have looked into these digital flashers and am currently testing one. This will eliminate the need to splice a resistor into one's wiring harness. A good thing.
Being a club project, MCP ensures that you must be pleased with our product so if you buy from us and do not like the bulb, you can return it for a refund. Plus you will be supporting the club.
A new product we now have is a solid dry chemical fire extinguisher the size of a road flare. No more steel bottle that needs recharging and inspection needed. If you are interested in either email me and I will send you the order forms.

The number one reason that an LED does not work, when all else is correctly done is a bad ground. There will be an article in the next CNB about LED bulbs and this issue.

I am selling LED 6 volts bulbs for our club. Can send anyone the order form and information. Warning though, getting LED from manufacturers is taking a while in some cases, so may be a wait for some bulbs. Trying to build inventory. Manufacturers are constantly discontinuing the bulbs I buy and replacing them with what they believe is better. Sometimes there is a fit problem because of length. LED companies do not use standard bulb numbers most of the time and if they do, sometimes they do not fit. That is why I measure, fit and test each new style I sell for the club. Satisfaction guaranteed. Plug and play replacements. Send requests to blevinsb33@aol.com

If you are interested in the parts to the drain tube, I have nearly 40,000 Packard part prints. Just need part number.

As for the chrome bars on the trunk rack, I suggest two options. Send them to John Wrights Custom chrome in Grafton, Ohio to be repaired and chromed. He is the best I have found for plating pot metal. Or American Arrow in Troy Michigan and they reproduce the bars in stainless steel.

I am in the need of a radiator for a 1941 or 1942 160 or 180 radiator. Original one was stolen.

Check your coils. The front coil powers the first four cylinders and the back coil cylinders 5-8.

Good Day,

I reproduce the metering units for the Bijur lubricating systems. If your car is a 34, the units would be DC. I make from 000 through 5.
