thank you for you reply, these covers appear to be new replacements. we did however discover if you put them on with the tire fully inflated helps but are still a bit loose. but once mounted in the fender wells they appear to be ok, they wiggle a bit at the lower end and are tight at the top. so a spring might be a good fix we have 700-17 tires one this car and spares. I cannot find anywhere where it says what size tires should be on this car. we have a set of 750-17 tires but they are to big for these covers.

Side Mount cover assembly

I need to know how the side covers mount on the spare tires. I have the covers and the mirrors that mount on top for a 1935 1205 limo. as I was not the person who disassembled this vehicle, I cannot find how they go back together. can anyone help I can send pictures of what I have if needed. I have assembled them on the tire and installed the assembly in the wheel well, thinking the wheel well would hold the tread cover tight, but it does not. some people have sugested a spring of some kind at the bottom to pull the ends together. but there is no where to attach a spring unless some how on the trim screws. would love to see pictures.

thank you tim, this is a big help, have to wait and see what the fuel hose I get from max merritt is. is there any pictures available of this set up? I have scoured the internet looking, can find pictures of the flex line but none so far showing the coupling area.

Fuel Lines

on our 1935 1205 super 8. the line goes up over the frame on the right side and was cut off. there is a rubber hose and hose clamp going to the fuel pump. but this is not right and was looking for the proper fittings. I am assuming that the hard line end was like a 5/16 brake line style male threads as max merritt has the flex hose and it looks to be a female swivel that connects to the hard line and male pipe threat going to the fuel pump. any one have pictures? or know what the treaded end is on the hard line on top of the frame?

funny thing I was going to post this exact question but only for our 1935 1205 super 8. the line goes up over the frame on the right side and was cut off. there is a rubber hose and hose clamp going to the fuel pump. but this is not right and was looking for the proper fittings. I found if you left click on the photo, it gives you a bigger picture and if you keep doing that till all you have on your screen is the picture, you can then right click on the photo and save it.
great photos.
