Deskdriver if you send me your email I can send you photos that way. I'm no computer genius either but I think that will work if you want better photos. Is there some kind of PM feature? Thanks for the interest.

Does anyone know where you can find out how many surviving models there are of certain models? I just purchased a 1930 740 Custom 8 Convertible Coupe and I know very little about these cars. I purchased it when my friends father passed and he had owned it since 1961. I absolutely love it and would like more info on these models. Thanks

now that's an idea. It came up in the spring of 1946 and I thought in 14 years when she is 100 I could make the trip back down the Alcan. We'll see!

Im new here so forgive me if I sound out of place :) I just purchased the Packard in the article you mentioned. It belonged to my friends father for the last 55 years. It is a beautiful car. I have spent the last 20 years restoring 68 Camaros & chargers so this is a very different type of vehicle to me but I have always wanted one. Like I said I know almost nothing about the history or production of Packards so any info is welcomed. Not even sure how many of this model are still around. The history & documentation on this car are awesome though. Any comments or info appreciated. Thanks
