Looking for delco starter

Hi, I have had the starter drive come out twice on my rebuilt autolite starter, the last time, making a clinking noise while it was running. I would like to switch to the delco, having heard it's the better of the two. Does anyone know of a modern starter that will fit my 320? Or have a good or rebuilt delco?
Thanks!

I did see that! Thank you for sending that info, and clarifying the opening sizes. Can always return it if it didn't fit:)

Radio help

Hi, I have a 55, super clipper, and would like to have a working radio, my car does not have the wonderbar radio, but I see many reproduction radios to replace the wonderbar. Does anyone know if the measurements are the same? 7 5/8" center to center and the face is 1 7/8" x 5 5/8" on the radio I have. I have converted the car to a negative ground system. Also, if getting mine overhauled is the only option, can anyone recommend someone? Thanks in advance.

Hi, my 55 super clipper has a non working radio, I have converted the car to negative ground. I see modern replacements for the wonderbar radio, but I don't have the wonderbar in my car. Are the measurements the same? ( wonderbar, non wonderbar)I also would like to have the contact info for Ralph, in case I need to get my existing radio repaired.
Thanks.

whats your primary reason for running the electric fuel pump? do you have to lower the output pressure? I just completed my 55 super clipper build, but never got a chance to really drive it before the snow came. But I would install an electric pump if its smart.
thanks

Hope all is well with your start up...It took me awhile after my rebuild to notice that I was missing the spring on my points, so there wasn't enough tension on them to close properly and my spark was all over the place. That was a bit frustrating to find!

Radiator install on my clipper

Hello everyone, can someone refresh my memory.... I'm installing the rad back into my clipper. I see the 3 bolts going down each side... the top and bottom have the spacer( which I assume accommodates a rubber...that I can't find.) does the rubber go between the rad and the cradle? Or next to the flat washer? I didn't think I threw anything out.... but cannot find and rubbers for this rad. Thanks!

I pondered the same thing...re-core, or switch to something different. But I didn't think it was worth it to save a few bucks, and possibly have cooling issues. I just got mine re-cored for $600. (Canadian dollars) The guys said the tanks were in unbelievable shape! Hopefully is lasts
