OK,I have ordered a case of type F and after I flush it, it will get driven!

When you drive do you actually feel the torue converter lock up? I am sure I hear an exhaust note change and the car is cruising nice at 60mph, and for a two speed it does not seem to be working that hard....

Also the automatic suspension - right now it is operated manually - what kind of process is it to put it back to automatic?

The people on here have been very helpful with my questions, thanks to all.

CHeers!

OK so I adjusted the mechanical linkage exactly how the manual says, I was not getting an upshift from D' ...so I adjusted my valve body throttle valve screw with information from PP.

Now for the first time in 20 years this car is upshting!!

However it has a slight rattle type noise from the front pum/torque converter area....any ideas guys?

Thanks for all the inoput...I would rather just repair the Gear start twin...however there is no one around here who has even heard of it...having said that; the transmission has been rebuilt and does not shift correctly warm, it wil be late to up shift and I am looking for a temporary install while that is sorted out..

I suppose I will have to figure it out

Cheers all!

Thanks for the information, does any one actually have the information on what is included in the conversion for the 727 or the th400? Or pictures on what needs to be done? Do i need to fabricate any plates to make it bolt to the engine, what torque converter can I use? On either transmission so I just have to drill the existing bell housing after I make a jig or match it to the twin's bell?

Thanks to everyone for the inforamtion....

I forgot to add, I have a 2004R, so if anyone knew where the conversion kit could be found, that would be great!

The car has not left a 15 mile circle for 15 years..however want to take it 2000km away, so I need a reliable unit for this trip..after that it may be putting aournd again - the car will be our driving for 2 weeks straight
