I would also suggest to check the date of manufacture of bias-ply.and in particular doing any business with Universal Tire. I recently purchased a set of Lesters from Universal. I asked them to check the date and send the latest date of manufacture. when I received them ,the date was 1998. when I called Universal, they basicly told me to pound salt that 1998 is the latest date of manufacture

I've just had a great experience with John Wolf in Willoughby. OH 440-942-0083.He repaired the temp gauge on my 38 12 roadster.I got it back in a week and he even replaced the shielded copper tubing, and was very fair in his pricing

well, good news bad news. after cleaning all connctions, Ino longer get the big drawdonwn the bad news is she turns over but won't start. I'm quite sure I damaged one of the coils attempting to losen one of the screws in the bottom of one of the coils and and one of the bakalite top caps. also the two wires on each side of the distributer i hooked up on the outer cap nuts of each coil not sure if this is correct
