If you have problems with the underseat fan motor- c&g (ford parts) sells a mtr that is all most identical-I just installed one in my 47-which looks almost identical to yours.

I used compressed air to test the antenna-that way you know if issue is with the antenna or the switch

You might do a search on ebay-if you can live with some changes to the mounting method. That is where I found a plate to allow mounting a coil to the firewall

I did the same for my 47 super clipper-took the old ones to napa and found something close-required some cutting to get the fit

have you tried putting lubricant in the small hole in shift column about 1/3 up from end? My car would get stuck in a gear and the lub would allow it to free up after working it

What should be the proper operation of the backup light? Only work when parking lights/head lights on? Mine currently work anytime when put in reverse

I tried the Ford mtr yesterday for fit. Surprised the 2 studs fit in the existing holes in the bottom of the heater. I probably will have to cut the shaft and studs on the drive end side of the motor. Electrically everything worked?

thk for the update.
