1937 Vacuum advance problems

I have a '37 115C coupe and I have traced a problem to the Delco Remy vacuum advance. I bought a NOS advance with the number 681K stamped on it, because it was identified as going to my car... but it is not the same. I think the 681K fits the 110 and/or 120. Can anyone enlighten me on this situation? Hopefully to steer me to a replacement. Thanks, Lee Davis

I did not write the book for publication, but rather to tell my Daughter of the adventure we had. I am quite sure that such a book would do terribly, for there is no interest along these lines, except for the rare sailor out there. Lee

Free book on sailing, paid for with a Packard

30 years ago, I sold a nice 1929 Packard, and that helped buy a new sailboat. We were on the boat for 5 years, and my daughter spent the first 2 1/2 years of her life on the boat. I just completed a book about our sailing, for her. I would appreciate feedback, so, if you would like a free pdf copy, just email me at copy@carvermaster.com Lee Davis

How would one test the vacuum advance on a 1937 Packard Six?

My 1937 Six is sputtering at higher speeds and so I figure I should start by checking the fuel pressure. How is that done? Is there a tester gauge in the 1-5 psi range available?

I have a 1937 115c heater that appears to be in excellent condition. Has the blower unit. Will take $100 for it (delivered). Copy@carvermastercom 505-239-1441
