I was just about to post about my horn issue on my 54 and I find this thread interesting as I am having the same issue. Put in a new horn relay but now need to connect to the steering column but can't find a drawing so that I know where to connect as I don't want to assume. So any info would be great and I will see what you come up with.

Thank you, gentlemen and I have purchased the schematic of this radio so if for some reason it becomes too challenging I will send it to Bob as I have been in contact with him, and great guy. Everyone has given me plenty of advice to start working on the radio.

I will definitely check to see if the fuse is ok but by the look of things, the vibrator is inexpensive so I may start with that too

I am in SoCal and wonder if he will work on it if I ship it to him? That would be great

No, it doesn't come on at all. Hoping to get it working but it will be a work in progress. May look for a local company to see if they could restore it?
