I don't know how to say this without it possibly being interpreted as coming off as a bit of an ass, but I had mentioned in previous post and included photos of cars that don't have the spare-tire band that you do. As shown in the pictures the ones I'm talking of seem to be affixed by another locations with the straps. Not to detract from your beautiful car by any means though

See that's where my curious nature comes in because I've seen a few pictures with the full wheel discs, cars from I'd say 28 to 31ish that have these mirrors without any cover. examples

I'm curious if those of us who are running the full wheel discs on our pre-war Packards, If we can indeed use the side-mount mirrors that often look amazing on our cars. I know how they attach with the Artillery and Wire wheels, but not the discs and I'm just a little curious

Okay, so hear me out..
I have been debating on "Updating" my 29' to 1931-32 by looking at installing their mechanical pump instead of the Stewart Warner pump. Can this be done? Is it more reliable? I have never dealt with the Stewart Warner system before so I'm curious

Okay so I'm not the only one. What disheartened me the most is the fact that this item was far from cheap. Being in Canada means with conversion, shipping, and duty this $1000 hoor ornament is basically a $1800 door stop

White Glove Collection

Okay, time for a bit of a rant.
I have a certain pain in my rear that has been caused by the white glove collection. I ordered the Godess of Speed for the bail type radiator. I specifically told the individual that my car was a 1929 Model 626. I was assured that the item would fit such a car. The order was placed. Upon it's arrival I was elated at first. Then my heart sank to my boots upon looking at my radiator. There is substantial difference in size. My radiator opening is 2 7/8ths and this cap is over 3 1/2. Upon researching it that indicates that the item sold was for a 1930 to 33 Packard. I've tried reaching out by email and phone but alas it has fallen on deaf ears. How hard is it to put in the item discription the dimensions of the cap itself? Thanks for reading my rant, any suggestions on what to do? -Mr Disheartened
