Well, i have license plate number for a 1941 registration in Kenton County KY. I've been in contact with license plate collectors and they verify that plate number is reasonable but there does not seem to be link to VIN as there is for modern cars

Hello,
There are 4 1289's in the registry. Could any of those come from the Northern KY or Cincinnati OH area? Looking for my dad's 1700 / 1289 that he owned in 1941

My dad briefly, 1938-1941, owned a Six convertible at his home in KY before going off to join the RCAF in canada. I'm writing a magazine article and looking for information on cars in that area and time. I see that Covington had it's own dealer in that time
