rebuilt fuel pump

I had my fuel pump rebuilt at Egge machine and it seems like there is to much fuel pressure as gas is pumping out the accerator pump hole in carburetor, the carb was rebuilt, has anyone ever had to put a fuel pressure regulator on? The car is a 1936 120 with a ee-14 carb.

Thanks Gentleman, I found out the difference in the 1936- 120 and the 1937 it is the bolt pattern on the flywheel so the new ring gear should work. I will look a little closer at my ring gear and if it is ok I will more than likely just flip it as I have done it on a 1937 Buick that I once had. I sure appreciate the input you guys give.

I was wanting to ask if a 1937 Packard 120 flywheel ring gear is the same as on a 1936, mine needs changed and there ones advertised for 1937 but the man who sells them did not know if they fit a 1936.

I would check out Diamond Back tires, I have them on my 1936 120 and they are radials with the wide whitewalls. I restored a 1937 Buick a few years ago and used them, I have no complaints they ride nice.

I need the master cylinder outlet connection for a 1937 -39 super eight as I found the one on a car I am working on the threads are stripped on one side. It is the brass part that the brake lines go in.
