I recently played the Tonight Show , and pre-show, Jay stepped into the dressin room to say hello...
I said "Jay hows it goin. BTW I would have driven my Packard here today but i'm havin her painted." That was all I had to say, for a 10 minute Packard symposium from Jay to me, about putting lubricant in the gas, get a fire extinguisher, etc. It was almost more of a quiz , which I somewhat passed. I got about a 65 D+ on my Leno Packard exam. the dude knows his cars and he loves Packards

lookin for a Disc brake conversion kit...
theres a shop in OC tthat will make the kit, but they need the spindle!!!!! I dont want to dissaseble... cuz the Packy is in the upholstery shop... again.... and ... quite franklin , it would be great to find a pre made kit for a '51 200.... anybody got any leads???

on my '51 200
lookin for the 3" screws which hold the chrome window trim to the dashboard.... theres 7 of em that i need.... see foto !!! any ideas where to find em?? email me if u got any leads and free time to email me! thanks Attach file:  (58.86 KB)

ah yes. thanx
im sure any question i can ask will appear on this website somewheres.... did some hill climbing in the Packard yesterday. drum brakes on the ridge road descent = mediocre we are going to try to modify the straight pipe exhaust , operation whisper mode : build an auxiliary muffler exhaust , which can be A/B via valve good for late nite approaches sans spitfire rumble that would be a neat trick if we can pull it off... gotta get under there and see if theres room
