Is the box flat on the bottom and welded all the way around? Is it steel ?

Have a 110 business coupe with an axle seal leak. I'm not sure if the the rearend is the original for the car.Would a different year rearend fit in the car? ie '39 If so ,are the seals the same? Also, are there any numbers on it to distinguish the year? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.Aside from a couple of what look like homemade brackets on the bottom of the speedometer and gauge panel, nothing is holding the top of the panel to the dashboard .

Thanks for all the help.I do have one more problem with the gas tank. It seems someone in the past put some kind of sealer in it and it is coming out in pieces. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

Would anyone have any information on finding a replacement float on the sending unit of a 1940 110? It has a cork one and it is disintegrating. Thank you
