I looked at Harborfreight but the 80 pack of copper crush washers was only available "in store" and not on-line. Next time I am in Atlanta I will pick one up. Best regards

I have been unable to find copper crush washers for the V8 oil drain plug. I have checked all the local hardware and auto part stores with no success. Also check Max Merritt with no luck. Does anyone have a source for these?

My 56 Caribbean convertible is also MES and the wheel wells are also Dover White. Good luck with your restoration.

Thank you for all the rsspnses. I was most interested in the Utica Packard V8 plant. I have never read anything definitive on the shut down date or the last casting date.

Did Packard (Studebaker-Packard) continue to produce engines in Michigan after automotive production ceased on June 25th, 1956? Curious if replacement engines were produced under the Curtiss-Wright agreement for some period.
