Anyone have a suggestion for a restorer for the clock and speedometer faces of a 1940 Cuatom Super 8? (Or a source for NOS?)

Well, I seem to have bungled it. The attachments did not come through. I'll try again.

Interesting topic. I recently got the program for "High Definition Resolution" photography which give a rather different slant on pictures. You bracket, say, five shots and then let the program melt them together to capture all the highlights, etc. inherent in the different exposure values.

We have a recent ice/snow in Georgia which got some attention. I backed my 1940 out and got the attached shots of the Cormorant with an ice covered tree as backdrop. The varied views are interesting - at least to me.

Looking at getting my 1940 Delux Radio running again as well. Any suggestions as to best radio man to entrust it?

Here's a real basic question: what should the output on the properly polarized 6V system be?

As far as stockpiling engines and restamping, the casting date on the block is 9/1/1939 and sales date in Indianapolis is 11/1/1939. So there wasn't a long delay between casting and delivery: exactly two months.

Here is a photo of my 1807. Number is on driver's side. Interesting - at least to me - is that fact that the first "C" appears to be retro stamp to make the number conform to being placed in a Custom Super Eight.
