I wanted to thank everybody for all the great info. I'm on my way out to Gettyburg Thursday. I was contacted by a show person who welcomed me to come. he was very nice, and I'll try to take some pics. I may need some help learning how to post them. I'll keep you posted. Jeff.

Packard show Gettyburg

I'm new here and and wanted to see if anyone can answer a simple question. I live about 3 hrs east of Gettyburg and wanted to attend the judging there this Thursday at the National Packard show put on by Packard Automotive Classics. I've been on their website and when I look over the show registration there is no provision that says clearly that you can attend one day as a spectator. The form seems to deal only with registering your car and attending for the week. I am a member of Packard Automobile Classics (the entity hosting the show). I've tried to contact both the vendor and show coordinators by phone and email with no sucess. Is anyone attending the show that knows if spectators are permitted? I have never been to a car club event that would not permit spectators, but I don't want to drive out there and be turned away.
BTW this is a nice forum with much good info. I finally decide to join. I have a '37 Touring Coupe (115) that my father left me that needs a going over and a few parts. It's been in the family for 43 years. I was drug around to all the good PA junk yards as a kid. I remember my Dad taking me to a couple of "old timers garages in the 60's that were filled (no room to walk) with old Packards. If only I had known! I was going to attend the show to do a little research and picture taking. Thanks for your input. Jeff
