I will be able to post weird pics, because the part is still in the car, and it is still doing funerals.

I will have a look to see if there are any markings, and what the problem seems to be over the weekend.

Any other ideas, guys?

Hi guys
My 1939 1701A Packard hearse needs new window regulators in the front. I have spoken to a seller, who tells me that there are three different types for this year.

Can you help with the following:-
1) Does someone have a part number for these
2) What model Packard regulator would fit? A) sedan B) Coupe C) Coach D) 7 seater sedan.

Any help will be appreciated

Hi Michael

I would be interested in the first one - the long plate.

I dont know what they go for - I will check.

But what would you want for it?

Regards

Mike

It has the plate light :) thanks for that. There was a scramble for a lot of little parts that the restorer neglected to tell me were missing or broken, but most of the stuff is there. I just have to start the fine tuning now :) I will take a pic of the back and post it

Our hearse is finally finished (almost - is a car ever finished?)

Ok, we cheated a bit. We replaced the engine, transmission and suspension with modern counterparts, because we are using the car almost on a daily basis :)- as a hearse!

But the basics are there. Doesn't she look good?

Hi William

Nice looking car.

Jeppe Tyres can get you the original spec tyres, with the wide white wall. They are flipping expensive (R18000 for six), but they look soooooo good.

I sent the seller of the plate an email, but had no reply as to the condition of the plate. Can someone post a photo of the Henney logo, and I can see if I can have a couple made?
