Rochester 4GC Carburetor 7007230 Base

I have a Rochester 4GC carb (7007230) from my '55 Clipper, 352 motor. Unfortunately, someone forced (over tightened) the idle screw and enlarged the "pin hole" on the backside. The threads on the throttle body assembly have also been enlarged to the point where the needle doesn't seat well. I bought a 4GC on eBay thinking I could use the base. I learned that the carburetor I bought on eBay was for a Chevy and the base (throttle body assembly) too small for my carburetor. Is there anyone out there in Packardland who would have a base for the Rochester 7007230 I have or that knows if there are other base models that would work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1956 Limit Switch on 1955 Packard?

I came across your PACKARD Forum conversation of a few years ago regarding the contact points of the compensator limit switch. I am looking for the same information. I inherited my dad's 55 Clipper Custom. Unfortunately, the switch needs to be mounted and I don't know how to do that; in particular, to what does the limit switch make contact? The car has only 32k miles on it, and I would like to get it in the road. I recognize that it is been a few years since your text string was posted, but would appreciate any help.
