How is your packard coming along? you must send us photo's.
I have already got in touch with Roy Greenberg and waiting on his reply.
the tyres that are on the car at the moment have come off my 1953 Clipper, so cant wait to put on the 700 X 16 with white-wall, nice to hear from you Mike

Mal - It was all worth it in the End, what a lovely drive..
started last year as you may have read waiting on spares from Kanter had abit of a problem but it got sorted.
now i think i might be looking for a VRD-4001B Regulator as my battery is running down or should i say not chargeing?
also have clutch judder when pulling off.But other than that she runs very well it was her first drive under her own power in 8 years! I must say, i like the way people look at the Packard as you drive along the road!!

(so all i have to do now is repair and adjust etc)

Mal, I am not sure - was it your engine with the bearing problem? (sorry to hear about your engine)
kind wishes Bill.

But she did get to the church on TIME..

Next is the Grill-slats so that it open's and close's with the themostat.
I would like to thank all, for your input - keep up the good work

Pat - thanx for your help.
i have this part with the arms, but would like to know how to connect under this, to the grill so that they open/close? thanks you for the info of the spring ( did not know about that?)
I would of thought that some one out there, would have done this linkage by now. (I was looking for an easy way out)
but i will get it to work i must just take my time.
Regards Bill

Need help, Can anyone tell me, what makes the front grill slats open and close:- On the connection side from front of grill slats - to the thermostat?

What i have is nothing coming from the slats, what is it that connects to them to make them move (what does it look like?)
I do have the top part with the two arms which sits under the maskot thats all.
Bill.
