Thanks, guys!
I went to Yesterday's Radio website and Jerry has a nice descriptive illustration of the parts of the antenna. It is a lot of help. I will remove it this weekend and take it apart and see what I am dealing with.

I am interested in buying a complete 23rd series (all)rooftop antenna or parts. I am also interested in a blowup picture of the assembly and how to remove the old and replace.
Thanks for all your help! Mike

23rd Series Blower Switch removal

I am needing to change the blower switch on my 1949 Custom 8. I cannot figure out how to remove the front button from the switch assembly. Looking on the underside of the button, it looks like a spring with some type of keeper. I would like to have someone tell me how to get the button off. I can get it from there, as there is just one nut to unscrew and 2 wires to disconnect.
All help appreciated!! Thanks, Mike

Very good!I cut a hole in 2 of my cars, both 1949's. It worked great. Put a hatch door over them. Sure is a lot easier than dropping the tank.
Thanks, Mike
