I think since this auction is closed and so should the discussion. Move on.

Did you use new spring pads? Flack will know more about this then me… but I know there are pads in there.

My bmw z3 even had different thickness pads that could be had to fine tune adjustments on the rear.

I’d have to win the lotto or had the foresight to purchase shib back in August of 2020 so I could afford to even think about restoring some of these primarily parts cars. But alas… we can’t all be millionaires.

There are a few in there worth saving…. But the rest…. Well I’m glad he saved them… but it would take a small fortune and with the way things are today…Idk…. Hopefully they go to good homes.

I’d take a Caribbean for $409….but I’d gladly give a few thousand more for a driver that needed some tlc.

1. How do you expect us to contact him when you don’t post a number or name?
2. These are probably prized possessions and he likes them exactly where they are and would only sell them for way more then they are worth.

Just my takeaway.

My 37 does the same thing. New wiring harness… 12v. New float. Tested the sender outside of the tank and the gauge works great moving it up and down by hand.

Gauge has a runtz on it to drop to 6v. When full it’s pegged…. As it goes down it bounces around…. And empty is beyond empty…. I just deal with it and get gas just about anytime I drive it.

I thought about an aftermarket 12v gauge. Idk…. Not a priority… just posting I have similar issues.
