actually the one on top is what i need. i have a super 8 and mines looks just like that. Are you willing to sell me the top one?

Greetings,
Yesterday while driving in a parade my gear shift lever broke at the base by the nut. (photo attached) 3 questions: 1. has anyone experienced this and how they repaired it. 2. can a machine shop weld and repair or do i need to find a replacement. 3. can this be done without removing the transmission and can it be done inside the vehicle. many thanks. check out the photo!
