Just popping in
Just popping in

D Mark
Before my Father passed away, he restored a '41 Packard, the model he learned to drive in. He went to a number of Packard Rally's.
He passed away and Over a number of years I now own it.

Paint job is beautiful. Engines runs. I take grandkids on rides.

Here is what it needs.

Generator doesn't charge. I've shorted it from firewall and it works for a while but then magnets loose charge.

Automatic choke on carb probably needs to be replaced

The ignition switch failed so I replaced it. We didn't mark the wires carefully and the overdrive wire(s) are not connected.

Steering needs to be tightened. It wanders a bit.

Radio (in trunk) needs to be installed but dash is complete

Upholstery needs to be replaced as in before I obtained possession, another family member allowed mice to eat the wool.

Question, should I sell this as a project car or find some knowlesgable person fix a few things up.

Thanks for your advice.
