Third series Packard built October of 1925. 6 Cylinder 126" wheelbase Sedan. Just out of 48 years of storage. Driver quality car. Full Classic under CCCA. Bought by a hobbyist in 1957 and used frequently on vintage car tours. Parked in 1968.
It has been repainted, the front seat reupholstered, some auxiliary switches added, and I believe the glass has been replaced. Otherwise the car seems quite original. All work would have been done over 50 years ago.
Since coming out of storage, fluids have been changed, fuel system cleaned, Rad hoses replaced, all things lubricated and freed up, and a new battery added. I have driven it around the block a few times, and everything seems to function well. It has a few period accessories. Park light, wolf whistle, and 4 wheel brake warning triangle. Window regulators need work. The lights all work and the key works in doors and spare tire lock.
I would call this a survivor car. With 67,000 miles on the odometer I would expect that parts have been changed or rebuilt, the paint is driver quality with chips and marks in it. The rear seats have had some tears stitched up. The ignition and light switches have been replaced. I don't think this car has ever been taken apart and restored. The wood body structure is very tight with no signs of rot or sagging. The sheet metal is all very solid. There is little or no rust in any of the undercarriage. Better photos available, but unfortunatley I am unable to load them.
Key and ownership papers in hand. Car is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
