OK a quick update on the tail lights..
I did some experimentation I’m both sets, and here are my end results..
The darker ones with the spider cracks. I had clear coated and came out nicely, considering their age and the cracks. However, the cracks are still noticeable from the top view.

The other set I wound up spraying a candy cranberry color on the lens that was most faded to try and even up the color to the opposite lens then one of spraying the other to refresh its color, which then now required a digital coat on the most feet in length as well, but the end result, speak for themselves check out the pictures..

I do plan on taking this set and have them clear coded as well.

Thanks Bigkev and Mike! I'm saving my "pennies" for the big Purchase

Oddly, the most faded Lense is the NEWER one I had replaced when I first got my vehicle.

The ones pictured in Bezels I assumed are original, but i really have no way on knowing. I plan on experimenting with the Lense but only when I finally have "new" lenses!

Tail light restoration?

Ok, I’m looking at my taillights and see that the one I had replaced, about seven years ago, has faded to almost clear in spots. The other I’m assuming is original and still has a good red color, although slightly faded from age. The picture shows them side-by-side. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to restore them. Had anyone ever had success spayin candy red clear inside them?!

The other set of taillights (pictured in their bezels)
Shows a series of spider cracks. I’m almost afraid to try and remove them for fear of them disintegrating
My question on these are is there a way to repair these types of lenses in the condition they’re in?

Riki, Thanks for confirming! I didn't realize that Packard didn't offer an electric motor. Always something to learn!

Sorry, but I don't know the Part number. however, I hope the picture helps.
I don't think it's Bendix or Monroe specific.

Howard, thanks for the info‼️
That’s, in fact, what I have.
So, just a couple of quick follow-up questions:

1- Would the “off “ position in the switch be pushed all the way “in” on the dash and the cable to extended outwards on the motor?

2- if not, please advise‼️
